Julie was born and lives with her husband and two children in Surrey, England. She has always had a love of art in many different forms from early studies at school through to today. She finds inspiration from walks by the seashore, riverbank and woodlands, which are prominent in her final pieces.

One of her favourite artists is Vincent van Gogh whose “Starry Nights” and “Sunflowers” pieces are highly influential.

It is collage that has become more favoured at this time providing the opportunity of blending colours to create pictures with a subtle texture, strong composition and a distinctive style.
